The Secret Library GuardiansPrologue
In the year 2187, the world population had shrunken due to a dreadful sickness known as Putrid Atrophy, in which the disease entered the body through tick bites (ticks flourished on dirty areas such as mattresses and couches) and within a few hours of being bitten, the victim would suffer from a severely high fever and die. Many individuals dropped dead and those who survived saw the devastation of mankind as they realized it. World War III (which started in the year 2181) had already ruined the entire world population and the AIDS virus (which could not be eradicated) killed nearly a million more people globally before it too burned off.
With the conclusion of the war in 2188, the survivors successfully eradicated the diseases and then they started the lengthy and difficult process of restoring their world, which had been destroyed by war and illnesses. Different nations cropped up in places where it had been seven major continents, and many different cultures and civi
The Secret Library Guardians 2Troy
Here is the tale about a boy known as Troy, who also was taken from his house at the same time as Elva was, on Monday, October 7, 2257 at 10:45 A.M. 70 years to the day when all these problems began.
Troy Branden was 17 years of age and a very odd boy at that. We hardly even know of what he looks like because he was taken from his house in Ebis, Cesurius (which is situated next to where the town of Tampa Bay, Florida once was). This huge city is incredibly crowded. It is located beside the sea and is mainly designed of timber. A highly-trained city guard protects it and its most popular attraction is the beautiful center square. The square was designed in 2230; some years after the battles have finished. It is also well-known for its unique buildings, and most of its earnings come from textiles. The people there were skilled tilemakers, and their tiles were popular all over the world.
Troy was described as a mysterious monolith with wide blue eyes that were hidden behind thin wire

Brother Skefan led Rhiassa and Nevyn from the Great Hall to a secret corridor. They walked through the long corridor until they reached another room. The Greeting Room, that was.
The Greeting Room was a confined room, but quite shabby. The surfaces were hidden entirely by floor to ceiling book shelves, broken up by tattered, sky blue drapes on the windows. The furniture in the room was quite old and stuffy, as if they had been used a longer period than intended.
Rhiassa frowned as she stepped into that forbidding room. Nevyn and the headmaster were right behind her. Seated at the old desk that faced the only window in the room (which was covered by a shabby curtain) was Salvatore the elf.
Salvatore was a personable man with droopy eyes the color of the sun and silky, straight black hair. He was very tall, has an angular build, black skin, and an elegant nose. His wardrobe is strange and tight, with a lot of green and blue.
Salvatore said, "Well, Skefan, so the

The children walked out of the room and saw a huge heap of outfits awaiting them. For Rhiassa, she was to wear a turquoise gauze dress, bedecked with little bells, and outlined with golden dragons. It seemed to have been designed for a little girl instead of a 14-year-old.
As for Nevyn, he was to wear a dark-colored brocade long-sleeved tunic and coral organic cotton trousers. The clothing revealed up to be designed for a dwarf instead of a 17-year-old boy.
After they were dressed, Rhiassa and Nevyn were taken to another room. The floor in this room is a patchwork of small rugs. The walls are an utilitarian grey with a border of blue along the middle. An obscure mustiness reaches your nose, though the pleasant breeze from the open window in the corner of the room temporarily diminishes it.
Salvatore was sitting at a table. Skefan was with him. There were plates of cakes and mugs filled with tea waiting for them. Rhiassa and Nevyn stood in front of the table, not knowi

Now that we have the stories of Troy and Elva, both of whom were taken away from their houses on Monday, October 7, 2257 at 10:45 A.M., we now get to see where they were taken.
Troy awoke and seemed around him. He discovered himself at the bank of an great and mighty river. That was the River Manentor, which was the most powerful, fastest, and deepest river that ever ran, well, next to the Nile and Amazon rivers, that was. Troy took two steps forward and bumped into a girl.
Elva too awoke and saw herself in an unusual place. She saw the River Manentor flowing past her and a strange castle looming behind her. She turned around and saw the boy standing next to her.
"So, you were taken too?" Elva said.
"Yeah," said Troy. "My name is Troy Branden. What exactly is yours?"
"Elva Sheppherd," said Elva. "Did you see anyone?"
"No," said Troy, "just a hand that came out and grabbed me. You?"
"Same here," said Elva. She looked up and a fairy, or what seemed like on
The Secret Library Guardians 1Elva
Now for the tale about a young girl known as Elva, who was about to be taken from her house. This is the year 2257; the day is Monday, October 7 at 10:45 A.M., which was precisely 70 years to the day when the dreadful illnesses and the wars broke out.
Elva Sheppard was just 14 years of age and a bit mysterious. We have only a hazy amount of information and facts about her because she was taken from her house in Namatius, Senzacion (which was located next to where the town of Sacramento, California once was). This large, incredibly overpopulated town astride a stream is best known as the location of an ancient battle; the fight was the Venetian-Pacific War, which was fought during the years 2097-2119. A lot of its inhabitants were engagaed in pottery, and it is well-known for its luxurious mausoleums, which were devoted to the military and individuals who passed away during that great and terrible fight.
Elva was described as a curious girl with round green eyes and silky smooth, s
SolaceShe never slept well in the dark,
not without the children of the sun and moon
to guide her weary lids home.
Guided by the aftermath, she was always two steps behind.
What did the world look like to the girl who had been through it all?
Braved the heaviest of storms,
yet skipping over cracks in the pavement.
They said her eyes were the wisps of clouds before the storm.
To him they were reflections of pages overlooked.
She said it was like she lived the life of someone she had never met.
Laid out to dry, yesterdays news.
He knew her as the girl who was built to never collapse.
He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
